Jennifer and James Hamilton are
correspondents for the Waggoner Cruising
Guide and authors of Waggoner
sister publication
Cruising the Secret Coast: Unexplored
Anchorages on British Columbia's Inside Passage. They are
frequent contributors to local boating magazines, and
are members of and webmasters for the
Bellevue Sail and Power Squadron.
The Hamiltons hail from Victoria,
B.C., but currently live and work in Seattle, where their power boat Dirona
is moored close by at Elliott
Bay Marina. They boat year-round, and can often be seen tiptoeing
across the vessel traffic lanes towards an anchorage on a dark, winter Friday
evening after work.
The picture at left was taken at Boat Pass in the Gulf Island's Winter
Cove Marine Park during a November gale.
